- AODFCU Membership
To become a member of AOD Federal Credit Union (AODFCU), you must meet one of the following eligibility criteria: Employment or Affiliation: You are eligible if you work for one of the companies or organizations that are part of AODFCU’s field of membership. This includes companies in certain industries, particularly those connected to the Anniston Army Depot (AOD) and other businesses in Alabama. Geographical Location: Individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Calhoun, Talladega, or Cleburne counties in Alabama are eligible for membership. Family Relationship: Immediate family members of current AODFCU members are also eligible to join. Immediate family typically includes spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren. Membership in the Alabama National Guard Association (NGA-AL): Even if you don't meet the other qualifications, you can join by becoming a member of the NGA-AL, which will qualify you for AODFCU membership. Once eligible, you can complete the membership by opening a share savings account with a small deposit, typically $25.
